Faith Community Church by the Sea
Children's Ministry

Growing kids for Christ is the goal of the Children's Ministry. Every age group experiences active learning. We have a caring staff who excel at creating loving, insightful, and fun environments for learning. Nursery care is available for the entire 9:30-11:30am service each Sunday.

Children (3-11 years old) are invited to participate in celebrative worship with their parents and join pastor Doug for "Kid's Korner" in the first 20 minutes of adult worship, after which they are dismissed with their teachers to Sunday School! We have written a worship guide for you to use in helping your children be a part of this important time of worship and spiritual challenge while still enjoying the experience yourself. Please feel free to pick up a complimentary copy at the information table the next time you join us.

Early Childhood (3 years old - kindergarten)

  Director:  Vivian Steinman

Our early childhood ministry, for children ages 3 through Kindergarten, is designed to introduce them to God. The Bible based curriculum gives your child a wonderful variety of experiences through which he or she will begin to learn of God’s love, His creation, the gift of His son, and the value of His Word.

Elementary (4 years old - 6th grade)

The elementary ministry is for young people in 1st through 6th grade. The Bible-based curriculum will provide exciting lessons using a variety of learning techniques and styles. The teaching will direct your child to apply the Bible lesson to their own life and to develop a personal relationship with the Lord, modeled by a caring teacher. We are committed to helping you lead your child to Christ and train them in the truths of the Bible.

Words of Encouragement from the Bible

"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."  - Colossians 3:15-17
"Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.  Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit."   - Psalm 32: 1-2
