Dear Praying Friends

Greetings to you in the precious name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The year 2005 has been a year of blessing to our ministry through your prayers and financial support. As we come to the end of the year, I would like to update our ministries here in India, Nepal, Bangladesh Mayanmar border and Bhutan.

As you go through this News Letter, Please join with me and my wife and all our staff in praising God for His Faithfullness.

Peter & Moala Kashung
Bible Training for Church Planters (BTCP)
BTCP SLG-IMP

The church planters training schools, which are available in both Siliguri and Imphal Centre are doing great. By 16th of December, altogether 127 have been graduated and planted 127 house Fellowships. We are thankful to East West Ministries International for financially sponsoring this training program without which we alone could not have been this effective and successful.

Our training school focus next year on Tripura state by allocating 90% seats for them (one of the most unreached people group in India). The few seats remained have been allocated to neighbouring countries. Please pray for all the teaching staff and their families.

Medical Ministry
Examining patient

Door to Door evangelism with free Medical camps are so effective. This year, we have done the free medical camps along with evangelism in 30 villages around Siliguri, Nepal and in Assam. We are grateful to Dorcas care Ministry, Various Teams from the U.S and all those who have generously donated fund to buy medicines, sent and carried medicines from U.S and prayers offered for this effort. According to our record, we have treated this year 4570 patients with free medicines and presented them the Gospel of Christ out of which 2285 accepted Christ and the rest are seekers.

Our thanks goes to Dr. Anju (picture on right) and a dedicated team of evangelists for their tireless efforts in reaching out to the unreached through medical camps.

Gospel Campaign
GMF

In partnership with Global Missions Fellowship, East West Ministries and various individual churches, LTC as a faciliatator in partnership with national churches and organizations have planted churches in various parts of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal.

For the first time, door to door evangelism was conducted twice at Kolkata with Global Missions Fellowship where eight churches have already been planted this year.

Pray for the upcoming campaigns in India in the year 2006!

India Cooperative Society (ICS)
ICS

India Co-operative Society (ICS) emphasizes on making churches free from financial dependency by starting self reliance projects for the newly planted churches. There are 159 projects like grocery stores, dairy, poultry readymade garments, rice mill, schools etc for the sustenance of infant churches.

We are grateful to Gary Venable, whose heart was moved by God and is working dedicatedly for its success. Still many more newly planted churches are waiting for the fund to start projects.

Please pray and contribute generously to let the churches become free from financial dependency.

Christian Schools
GA-AA

There are 5 Christian schools running under LTC. Out of which one is high school (Grace Academy, Imphal), 3 Primary English schools in Sikkim, Kodai and in Nepal respectively and 1 free school (Anshu Academy for tea gardeners kids) in Siliguri. All of our various ministries focus on evangelism. It is so amazing that not only our students but even their parents by seeing the lives of the children accept Christ as their personal Savior.

Please pray for their teachers and school management. We need school suplies and financial support. We are grateful to all those who are supporting our schools through prayers and financial contribution.

Children Ministry
IHC

According to Dr Abdul Kalam, the present president of India, majority of India's population is constituted by children. As we all know a nation's future is in the hands of today's children. While India still remains a Hindu dominated country, we need to tell this children the love of Christ. Keeping in mind the word "Catch them Young" we go around the villages for children camping and starting Sunday Schools.

We are thankful to Jamul Community Church, San Diego for training Mr. Arun Kochary, our children ministry co-ordinator, through Indian Hill Camp.

OTHER MINISTRY ACTIVITIES
MINISTRY MULTI PIC

Music schools/trainings Both Watson school of Music in Grace Academy and Barnabas music training in Siliguri have been playing vital role in strengthening praise and worships in the local churches. Our evangelists and school children are being trained in both guitar and keyboard and they in return a blessing to our churches in music ministry.

Besides we are thankful to Miss Kelly Takundo Orphan and Stephenie Tramellie for their sacrificial effort for coming all the way from US to train our young people in music. God bless you.

Ashraya (Orphanage) is a place of refuge for female infants who are being rescued from infanticide due to dowry and other reasons. Place pray for all the rescued babies and the team under the leadership of Sony and Soso. We truly are grateful to all the supporters of this challenging ministry.

This year one of our major contribution to National churches and Theological colleges was bringing final year students of theological colleges, church and youth leaders for exposure and training on Evangelism and Church Planting based on Dynamic Churches International (DCI) curriculum.

Many of them went back so motivated on evangelism and church planting. One interesting thing about them is they began to share the gospel during their train journey back home and 10 instantly accepted Christ. The following have been exposed to Evangelism and Church Planting.

1. 50 Kohima Ao Baptist Church Youth leaders

2. 22 Church leaders of Sadar Baptist Association

3. 16 students of Reformation Bible College

4. 22 students of Discipleship Bible College
