Saturate San Diego

In the weeks leading up to Easter, dozens of churches all across San Diego will join together to cover the county in prayer and canvass it with gospel materials (literature, DVD, etc.).
We at Faith Community have signed up to adopt thousands of homes in our Carlsbad zip-code (92009) and will be prayerfully delivering gospel packs to doorsteps on Sunday, April 7.
For those of you who have been praying for revival–this is the time to put legs to your prayers!
We believe so strongly in the opportunity set before us–that instead of getting together on April 7 to “do church” at our normal Worship Service–we are going to “BE the church” out in the community–spreading the joy of the gospel.
Watch the video below to catch the vision for the Saturate movement that is spreading across the country!

It’s our prayer that everyone from Faith Community would be a part of this outreach.
Even if you are not able to walk the neighborhoods on the 7th, perhaps you can help assemble the materials on Saturday the 6th (anytime between 9am-4pm at the church).
Can you commit to walking the neighborhoods and placing gospel packs on doorsteps? Let us know here.
Join a friend, your FAITH Group, a ministry group, or your family (a great opportunity for parents with their kids!).
Arrive between 9:30-10:30am on Sunday, April 7 and we’ll give you a map and materials to head out and begin delivering to nearby homes.
The length of time you serve is up to you. We’re hoping people will be able to commit to anywhere between 2-4 hours. But even ONE would be welcomed!
Lunch at the church will be served to help refresh and refuel you between 12:30-1:30pm.

Good Friday Service

carlsbad good friday cross service
Our Good Friday Service is an opportunity to come together at Faith Community Church to remember and reflect on the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
His death on the cross–while a somber and dark day in our world’s history–was the necessary precursor to the miracle of Resurrection Sunday (Easter).
Join us at 7:00pm on Friday, April 19 for a family worship service* that blends gospel narrative, contemplative music, and self-reflection.
Remember to finish the story on Easter Sunday during one of our Celebration Services (8:30am | 10:30am).
*Childcare available for children 4 years old & younger.
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness.

Fall Family Fellowship

Fall is here and we hope you will be too–for our Fall Family Fellowship on Sunday, November 4.
After our 10:30am Worship Service, we will enjoy a chili potluck with lots of sides and fixin’s (baked potatoes, cornbread, salad, etc.)
This won’t just be any chili–this will be chili from participants in our chili cook-off who are submitting their very best recipes for your enjoyment.
Go here to let us know we can count on you to bring chili to share!
For the rest of us who’d like to attend but not submit chili for the cook-off, we’d ask that you bring a side or dessert to share.
Use the chart below to determine what kind of item to bring.
If your last name begins with the letter…
A-H: Bring a bread item (corn bread, rolls, etc.)
I-Q: Bring a salad (green, pasta, potato, etc.)
R-Z: Bring a dessert
Go here to let us know you’re coming and what you plant to bring.
Following the potluck lunch, there will be a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy, including a bounce house, field games, a pie eating contest, a craft station, and more!
