Movie Night: The Greatest Showman

Movie Night Carlsbad The Greatest Showman

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us for a FREE summer movie night on the grass!

Come at 7:30pm on Friday, August 10, snag a spot on the lawn, and grab some refreshments (drinks, candy, and freshly popped popcorn for just $1 a piece).

At sundown, we’ll show the hit move, The Greatest Showman (PG), on a huge outdoor screen!

Inspired by the imagination of P.T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business & tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.

Please REGISTER yourself below and tell us how many total people are coming with you and what kind of candy you enjoy so we can plan accordingly.

All ages are welcome, parental guidance is advised.

Progressive Prayer (Apr. 29)

After church on Sunday, April 29, we hope you will stay for a progressive prayer and lunch event.

Following our 10:30am Family Worship Service, we will meet back in the sanctuary (12:00pm) for a time of corporate prayer together before splitting into groups and rotating through stations at the church (lobby, lawn, children’s wing, etc.) to pray for people and ministries unique to each area.
A “progressive lunch” will be served throughout (something at each station).

Parents and kids are encouraged to take this opportunity to pray together as a family. Cards will be given to kids to get stamped at each station (& get a prize for completion!).
As we continue to focus on our church theme for the year (3,2,1…GO!), one of our goals is to be more intentional about praying for the lost. April 29 is an opportunity to do just that, so mark your calendars.

Good Friday Service

Good Friday is a time we come together at Faith Community Church to remember and reflect on the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
His death on the cross–while a somber and dark day in our world’s history–was the necessary precursor to the miracle of Resurrection Sunday (Easter).
Join us at 6:30pm on Friday, March 30 for a family worship service* that blends gospel narrative, contemplative music, and self-reflection.
Remember to finish the story on Easter Sunday during one of our Celebration Services (8:30am | 10:30am).
*Nursery & kids classrooms available for children 4 years old & younger.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” -Matthew 11:28-30
